Each question is made via a unique algorithm, generating random numbers/values and using a set of templates to put them in. The algorithm and question templates are made by me, trying to target concepts and common exam styles.
Go to the side panel and expand the question section. Here there will be a button with a plus icon, press this to show the add question popup. From here select the stage, topic, level and amount you want, then press the add button on the bottom right. Now the questions will be added to your paper
The best way to rearrange questions is by clicking the question you want to move whilst on the paper, and then drag the question to where you want it to be. Another way is by clicking the question and using the up and down arrows to shift the question order by one.
At the top right of the question page there should be a share icon . After you click on this it will copy the url for the current page and level you are on.
Feedback is greatly appreciated, it helps improve the website and find problems we didn't realise. To share feedback please send via an email (found in contact page under about). Email title should summerise your email, and if its about an issue please try to describe how it was produced
All parts of the questions are 100% free to use, there is no limit to how many questions you can generate. The editor is also free to use, getting access to all the features you need to create worksheets and exam papers. The Examiniser Pro (paid) is for people who want to store and edit their papers, or require more questions per paper and higher quality exports, but apart from that everything else is free.

The aim of this website is to provide free maths questions to students and teachers. One of the biggest problems is running out of questions and not being able to practise a topic with different values and question phrasing. For students the aim is to allow you to generate questions endlessly, being able to practise until you are confident. For teachers the aim is to create worksheets for students fast, creating however many questions you want.
Exam Builder allows you to create an exam paper with ease. Pick the total marks you want, the level range and the topics you want, then click add and you have your own paper. From here you can edit or regenerate questions to your liking.
When you go to a question page, there will be a fullscreen icon at the top right of the screen, this will show the fullscreen mode. This allows you to create a grid layout of multiple questions, useful for classrooms or if you want to generate multiple questions at a time. To reveal the answer simply click on the question you want to reveal and it will show the answer.
